Virtus training

What is VIRTUS?

The VIRTUS Protecting God’s Children Program helps prevent child sexual abuse by clergy, staff, volunteers, and others who interact with children and vulnerable adults within the Catholic Church and school environments. 
 

Who Should Attend VIRTUS?

All COKAS volunteers working with children and/or vulnerable adults in faith formation, liturgy, or any parish ministry, and all employees, regardless of duties. 
 

Why is your attendance at VIRTUS important to our parish?

The more trained people, the safer our parish will be for children and vulnerable adults. With a safer environment, we will also be able to serve our faith formation activities better and be more inclusive in our many ministries.

Background Checks

Please find below the Sterling Background Check Form.  Make sure you sign the second page. You may pace in a sealed envelope and drop off at the Front Office or hand to an Usher at Mass to deposit into the safe.  Mark Dave Marrin on the outside of the envelope.
